Description

Font Karuta is a fast-paced, real-time competitive game that's all about font types. Designed by Megumi Sekine and published in 2022, this game is perfect for 3 to 10 players looking for a quick and exciting experience that can be played in as little as 10 to 30 minutes. The rules are simple, making it easy to dive right in and start playing. The game is based on the traditional Japanese card game Karuta, but with a twist - instead of pictures or words, players compete to find cards with the same set of letters in different fonts. In Font Karuta, a "Reader" announces a font name with a clue, and then it's a race to find the matching card. The catch is that the answer isn't clearly stated on the card, so players need to use their knowledge of fonts and the clues given to make a quick and accurate match. With its real-time gameplay and speed matching mechanics, Font Karuta is a thrilling game that's all about being the first to react. The player who collects the most cards wins, making it a great game for those who love word games and card games. Whether you're a font enthusiast or just looking for a fun and competitive game, Font Karuta is a great choice for a quick and exciting gaming experience.
