Description

Get ready for a fierce battle for the throne in For a Crown, a thrilling board game designed by Maxime Rambourg. In this fast-paced game, 3 to 5 players from noble families will stop at nothing to outmaneuver each other and claim the crown. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be diving into the action in no time. The game is all about deck construction, where you'll recruit new characters like mercenaries to add to your deck, and then use them to take down your opponents. As you navigate through the game, you'll need to negotiate and make strategic decisions to come out on top. With hidden victory points and the ability to use victory points as a resource, you'll need to stay on your toes and adapt to the changing circumstances. The game is over after just 30 to 45 minutes, but those minutes will be packed with excitement and suspense. Will you emerge victorious and claim the crown, or will your opponents outwit you? With its unique blend of deck construction, take that mechanics, and negotiation, For a Crown is the perfect game for anyone looking for a fun and challenging experience. Published in 2025, this base game is a must-play for fans of party games and negotiation.
