Friends and Communities with Formation
Description
Formation is a super accessible and fun card game that's perfect for a quick hangout with friends or family. Released in 2021, this game was designed by Jordan Bright and Alex Williams, and it's clear they knew what they were doing when it comes to keeping things simple and entertaining. With rules that can be explained in no time, 2 to 4 players can dive right in and start drafting cards to build their formations. The gameplay is smooth and fast-paced, typically lasting between 15 to 30 minutes, making it an excellent choice for a casual game night or a filler between more complex games. The card drafting mechanic adds a layer of strategy, as players need to think carefully about which cards to pick to create the most effective formations, all while trying to outmaneuver their opponents.
