Description

In the peaceful land of Freigard, an invasion is looming, and it's up to you to defend it against the relentless Walking Castles. As a solo player, you'll need to gather the most valiant defenders to save this enchanted abode from the clutches of these mechanical monsters. With a playtime of just 15 minutes, you'll be immersed in a world of risk taking and hand management, making quick decisions to outsmart the enemy. The game rules are incredibly simple, and you'll be able to dive right in, thanks to the genius of renowned game designer Reiner Knizia. Each turn, you'll have a choice to make: score your current hand of three cards, or take a chance and draw an extra card to improve your odds. But be warned, drawing too many cards can burn through your deck too fast, leaving you defenseless against the strongest Walking Castles. On the other hand, scoring too often might not give you the powerful army you need to succeed. It's a delicate balance that requires strategic thinking and a bit of luck. As a solo game, Freigard is the perfect way to challenge yourself and test your skills. With its simple yet engaging mechanics, you'll be hooked from the very first turn. Published in 2025, this game is a fresh take on the solo gaming experience, offering a thrilling adventure that's full of surprises. So, get ready to defend Freigard against the Walking Castles and experience the thrill of this fast-paced, action-packed game. Will you be able to save the day, or will the enemy prevail? There's only one way to find out.
