Description

Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago is an exciting wargame where you take on the role of a Heritor, a mighty warrior with a powerful legacy. Your ancestors drank from the legendary Crystal Pool, granting you and your team of spellcasters, rogues, and treasure hunters extraordinary abilities. The game is set in a vast island chain, known as the Ghost Archipelago, which appears every few centuries in the southern ocean. This mysterious place is filled with ancient ruins, hidden treasures, and deadly threats, making it the perfect setting for a thrilling adventure. As you explore the islands, you'll encounter cannibal tribes, sorcerous snake-men, and poisonous water-beasts, all of which will try to stop you from achieving your goals. But with the power of the Crystal Pool in your blood, you'll be able to perform incredible feats of strength and agility. The game uses a simple yet engaging rules system, where you'll use action points and dice rolling to navigate the challenges of the Archipelago. You'll also have access to a wide range of spells, soldiers, and treasure, which will aid you in your quest for glory. With thirty spells drawn from five schools of magic, you'll be able to tailor your approach to suit your playing style, whether you prefer a more aggressive or stealthy approach. In Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago, you can play solo or with a friend, making it a great option for those who enjoy solo adventures or competitive play. The game's normal complexity level means that anyone familiar with board games will be able to pick it up quickly, and the variety of scenarios, treasure tables, and creatures will keep you coming back for more. With its rich fantasy setting and exciting gameplay, Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago is an excellent choice for fans of adventure and wargaming. And with several expansions available, including Lost Colossus, Cities of Bronze, and Gods of Fire, you'll be able to extend your gameplay experience and explore even more of the Ghost Archipelago.
