Description

Get ready for a thrilling adventure with G.I. Joe Commando Attack, a classic board game from 1985 designed by Larry Harris, Jr. This game is all about strategic combat and teamwork, as two to four players take on the roles of G.I. Joe and Cobra teams, each consisting of two squads of six soldiers. The objective is simple: be the first team to infiltrate the enemy headquarters. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this game is perfect for a fun, fast-paced experience that's easy to jump into. Each turn starts with a roll for initiative, adding an element of excitement and unpredictability to the game. The team that wins initiative gets to move their soldiers, with the number of soldiers that can be moved determined by a die roll. Soldiers can move in any direction, but they'll need to navigate through the jungle and rivers, and avoid enemy squares. Combat is resolved through dice rolls, and players can gain an advantage by teaming up their soldiers to take on the enemy. With rules for freeing captured allies and raiding the enemy supply depot, there are plenty of opportunities for clever tactics and surprises. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, G.I. Joe Commando Attack is the perfect game for a quick gaming session with friends or family. The game's mix of strategy, luck, and teamwork makes it a great option for players of all ages and skill levels. As a classic game from the 80s, it's a great way to experience the nostalgia of retro gaming, and its simple yet engaging gameplay ensures that it remains fun and entertaining to this day.
