Description
In Gold River, players are on a mission to strike it rich in the Wild West, competing to take home the most cash from the surrounding mines. This easy-to-learn game is perfect for 2 to 5 players, and a typical game lasts around 35 minutes. On each turn, players bid on a variety of items, including mines, dynamite, and town characters, with the winning bidder getting to choose their prize first. As players collect items, they'll roll dice to determine which mines pay out, and the first player to acquire two mines in a location becomes the town's Mayor, earning a commission on future acquisitions. With its unique blend of auction, dice rolling, and set collection mechanics, Gold River offers a fun and exciting experience for all players, and its short playtime makes it easy to fit in a game or two.
