Gravitas

Friends and Communities with Gravitas

Description

Gravitas is the kind of party game you can pull out in a flash and have the whole room laughing before you even finish setting up the board. Designed by Alan Gratias in 2007, it’s built for zero‑to‑two players, which means you can roll the dice solo, challenge a friend, or even use it as a quick ice‑breaker when the crowd is waiting for something else. The rules are so simple you can explain them in a heartbeat, and the playtime is essentially “zero minutes” – you’ll finish a round before the next drink hits the table. It’s a mature, adult‑only romp that leans on witty, sometimes cheeky prompts, making it perfect for a grown‑up game night where the only thing that matters is having a blast and keeping the conversation rolling.
