Greek Tragedy

Friends and Communities with Greek Tragedy

Description

Get ready to dive into the intense world of Greek Tragedy, a team-based board game designed by Patrick Stevens. Released in 2024, this game drops you into the midst of a civil war in Greece, where communist fighters clash with the Government army and its right-wing and centrist allies. With the United States and Soviet Union pulling the strings from behind the scenes, the conflict is as much about ideology as it is about control. In Greek Tragedy, 2 to 4 players take on the roles of these opposing forces, using card play and conflict resolution to outmaneuver their opponents. The rules are easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - the game itself is a complex web of strategy and teamwork. As you navigate the challenges of the civil war, you'll need to work with your teammates to make the most of your cards and outflank your enemies. With playtime ranging from 90 to 180 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the world of Greek Tragedy and see your strategy through to victory. Whether you're a fan of wargames or just looking for a new challenge, Greek Tragedy is a great choice - so gather your friends, choose your side, and get ready to shape the course of history.
