Description

Grit is a quick and intense card game that's all about making the right moves to get closest to 21 without going over. It's a bit like Blackjack, but with a unique twist that makes it a game of information and strategy. With just 10 cards in play out of a total of 12, each player starts with a hidden hand of 4 cards and a single visible card on their board, along with 2 empty spaces waiting to be filled. The goal is simple: play your cards wisely over 4 rounds to build a board that totals 21 or as close to it as possible, without busting. What makes Grit so engaging is the combination of simple rules and deep strategy. Despite being easy to learn, the game requires careful hand management and a keen sense of timing to outmaneuver your opponent. With a playtime of just 10 minutes, you can fit in multiple games in a single sitting, and the first player to reach 50 points wins. Designed by Zach Gage and first published in 2013, Grit is a compact and thrilling card game that's perfect for two players looking for a fun and challenging experience. Whether you're a fan of card games or just looking for a new game to add to your collection, Grit is definitely worth checking out.
