Released in 2025, this base game is perfect for 1 to 4 players looking for a fun and challenging experience that can be enjoyed in just 25 to 40 minutes. With easy-to-learn rules, GrumbleStone is all about strategically placing polyominoes on your grid to maximize your future turns and outmaneuver your opponents. Each player takes on the role of a grumpy golem, with unique starting grids, health, and wealth, as well as unlockable powers and superpowers. As you roll the dice and assign them to activate symbols on your grid, you'll collect grumbles, heal yourself, attack rival golems, or protect yourself from attacks. The game is a perfect blend of dice rolling, tile placement, and worker placement, with a hint of player elimination and take that mechanics. With 40 chipboard polyominoes to puzzle-piece onto your 6x6 grid, you'll need to think carefully about your next move to become the last golem standing and claim the title of King of the Mountains. Whether you're playing solo or with friends, GrumbleStone is a thrilling game that's sure to bring out your competitive side and leave you grumbling for more.
