Description
In Heads of State, 2 to 5 players compete to rise to power in 16th-18th century Europe, navigating the complex hierarchy of nobles in the Royal courts and Provinces. Players collect sets of cards, including Gold, Troops, and Titles, to raise their nobles in four key countries: England, France, Spain, and the German States. The goal is to gain control of these countries by strategically placing your nobles in the right areas. With multiple paths to victory, players must balance competing objectives, such as dominating a country or collecting a full set of nobles. But beware - Treachery cards can be played to sabotage your opponents, using methods like the guillotine or assassination to remove their nobles and replace them with your own. With its engaging gameplay and historical setting, Heads of State offers a fun and challenging experience for fans of political and strategic board games.
