Description

Heroes of Normandie: Guardians' Chronicles Expansion Pack brings a fresh twist to the original game, introducing superheroes to the battlefield. Imagine Captain Justice, the Super Yankee, leading the charge against the German armies, armed with nothing but his strength and patriotism. Meanwhile, Lady Britain illuminates the dark skies with her mighty lightnings, giving the Allies a much-needed edge. These larger-than-life characters are not just any ordinary soldiers - they're equipped with extraordinary faculties, mythical equipment, and advanced technology that sets them apart from the rest. The Reich has its own superhero, Evil Anja, a dark and ruthless figurehead who embodies the ferocity of a pack of werewolves. Her presence on the battlefield sends a chilling message to the Allies: they will stop at nothing to achieve victory. As players navigate the modular board, they'll need to strategically utilize their superheroes' powers, deciding when to hold back and when to unleash their full fury. With the introduction of superpowers, players now have the option to lose superpower instead of suffering hits, adding a new layer of depth to the game. The expansion pack seamlessly weaves these new elements into the original game, making it easy for fans of Heroes of Normandie to jump right in and experience the thrill of the battle. With a playtime of 0 to 90 minutes, Heroes of Normandie: Guardians' Chronicles Expansion Pack offers a thrilling experience for two players. The normal complexity of the game rules makes it accessible to anyone familiar with board games, while the unique blend of dice rolling, card drafting, and variable player powers keeps the game exciting and unpredictable. Designed by Yann and Clem, this 2015 expansion pack is a must-have for fans of the original game and anyone looking to add a touch of superhero flair to their World War II wargaming experience.
