Hollywood Racers

Friends and Communities with Hollywood Racers

Description

Picture this: you’re in the middle of a glitzy Hollywood backlot, engines revving, flashbulbs popping, and a crazy new arena—The Lost Arena—has just opened its gates. Hollywood Racers: Racers of the Lost Arena is the wild expansion that throws you and up to five friends straight into the most over‑the‑top, movie‑mad race of the year. The rules are as breezy as a red‑carpet interview, so you’ll be up and racing in minutes, not hours. Each game lasts about half an hour to an hour, perfect for a quick break between popcorn breaks or a full‑blown showdown when the credits roll. What makes this set a real show‑stopper is the mix of flashy mechanics. You hand out a handful of action points each turn and decide whether to blaze ahead, pull a sneaky shortcut, or unleash a ridiculous “take‑that” stunt that could send your rival’s car into a spectacular spin‑out. The modular board means the Lost Arena reshapes itself every play—one round you might be dodging exploding movie props, the next you’re weaving through giant director’s chairs that shift like set pieces. And because each player gets a unique, movie‑themed power—think “Stunt Double Speed Boost” or “Script Rewrite Sabotage”—no two races ever feel the same. The humor is dialed up to eleven, with tongue‑in‑cheek references to classic films, over‑the‑top announcer quips, and the occasional cameo from a bewildered extra who just can’t believe the chaos. Designed by Phil Vizcarro and released in 2022, this expansion cranks the original Hollywood Racers up a notch without adding any rule‑book headaches. Grab your friends, pick a character, and get ready to roar down the track, pull off the craziest stunts, and claim the title of the ultimate star‑driven speedster. Lights, camera, action—let the Lost Arena roar!
