Description

Get ready to explore the galaxy like never before with Horizons: Extermination, the exciting expansion to the Horizons board game. Published in 2019 by game designer Levi Mote, this game is perfect for 2 to 5 players looking for a fun and challenging experience that can be enjoyed in 40 to 100 minutes. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, but with enough complexity to keep experienced gamers engaged. As you venture into the unknown, you'll encounter new alien species, including the Viliox, who can be either friend or foe, and new star systems to discover, each with their own special powers and challenges. In Horizons: Extermination, you'll have the opportunity to exploit the Viliox species to destroy your opponents or befriend one of the new starting ally species to explore the galaxy together. With five new Viliox Alien Ally cards, five alternate Starter Ally cards, and six alternate Star tiles, this expansion adds a fresh layer of strategy and excitement to the original game. The modular board and tile placement mechanics allow for a unique experience each time you play, while the area majority and influence mechanics give you the chance to outmaneuver your opponents and emerge victorious. Whether you're a fan of science fiction, space exploration, or civilization-building, Horizons: Extermination has something for everyone, and is sure to provide hours of entertainment for you and your friends.
