Description

Hot Dog is a fast-paced and exciting card game where 2 to 5 players compete to earn the most money by selling their hot dog cards at the best price. The game is simple to learn and can be explained quickly, making it accessible to players of all ages and experience levels. Each player starts with a set of hot dog cards and table cards, and the goal is to sell your hot dogs as quickly as possible at carefully selected tables. The tables have different values, which determine how many hot dogs can be sold at each one, and players must strategically decide which tables to sell at and how many hot dogs to sell. The game is played over three rounds, with each round consisting of simultaneous action selection, where all players decide which table to sell at and how many hot dogs to sell. The twist is that players can use dollar cards to reduce the price of their hot dogs, which can change the order in which they get to sell. The player who earns the most money after three rounds is declared the winner. With its simple rules and simultaneous action selection, Hot Dog is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for a quick game night with friends or family. Designed by Wolfgang Kramer and Richard Ulrich, and first published in 1996, Hot Dog is a classic game that's sure to bring laughter and excitement to the table.
