Description

Get ready for a thrilling adventure in Ice Hike: Beware of the Bears, a game designed by Niels Pieterse and published in 2024. In this exciting board game, 2 to 5 players embark on a perilous journey across icy landscapes, snow-capped mountains, and treacherous terrain, all while trying to outsmart each other and avoid those fierce polar bears. The goal is simple: be the first to reach the nearest village on the mainland, but the path to victory is filled with challenges and strategic decisions. As you navigate the modular board, composed of hexagon grid tiles, you'll need to cleverly place landscape tiles to create a safe passage for yourself or block your opponents' progress. You can move your puppet or a polar bear to gain an advantage, but beware - every decision can have unexpected consequences. With a playtime of just 45 to 60 minutes and simple rules that can be explained quickly, Ice Hike: Beware of the Bears is an accessible and engaging game that's perfect for families, friends, and adventure-seekers alike. Will you emerge victorious and claim the title of ultimate Ice Hike champion, or will the harsh Arctic environment and cunning opponents stand in your way?
