Description

In Teufels Küche, or "In the Devil's Kitchen", is a fun and lighthearted children's game that's all about outsmarting your opponents in the underworld. Players take on the role of little devils in chefs' caps, navigating the board to collect pots and earn points. The game starts with each player secretly assigning values to their pots, adding a layer of bluffing and strategy to the gameplay. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, up to four players can join in on the fun, making it an excellent addition to family game nights. As players take turns rolling dice and moving their devils around the board, they'll need to balance the risk of stealing pots from other players with the reward of getting their own pots back to the kitchen. But watch out - if a devil brings milk to the kitchen, it's game over for that little guy. The game's exciting gimmick is the large plastic stove in the middle of the board, which comes into play when two opposing devils meet and start dueling. Players take turns pushing the plunger, waiting to see which devil will emerge victorious and claim the pot. With its unique blend of pick-up and deliver gameplay and bluffing mechanics, In Teufels Küche is a thrilling experience that'll keep you on the edge of your seat. Designed by Alex Randolph and first published in 1993, In Teufels Küche has become a classic in its own right, building on the foundations laid by Randolph's earlier games like Top Secret and Spion & Spion. With a playtime of around 60 minutes, it's the perfect length for a fun and casual game night with friends and family. So gather around the table, get ready to outwit your opponents, and see who'll be the first to collect 10 points worth of dishes and claim victory in the devil's kitchen.
