Description

In International Movie Maker, you're a film producer aiming to create blockbuster hits that rake in the cash at the box office. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, 2 to 6 players can dive into the world of movie making, collecting essential elements like a story, director, male and female film stars, and locations to bring their vision to life. The type of film you choose, from epic to horror, determines the best cast and number of locations needed, adding a fun layer of strategy to the game. As you navigate the board, you'll encounter distribution companies that can boost your income, as well as challenges like star trouble and director loss. With a playtime of 90 minutes, International Movie Maker offers a light and reasonably fun experience, perfect for a night in with friends. First published in 1968, this classic game still delivers entertainment and excitement for movie buffs and gamers alike.
