Description

Iocus Arcanus is a thrilling fantasy board game where 2 to 4 players take on the role of magic apprentices competing to pass the first trial, a crazy coliseum where arcane energy is unpredictable and luck plays a big part. Designed by Narciso Lema and published in 2022, this game is easy to learn, making it perfect for a fun family game night. The goal is to be the first to acquire all the different knowledge available, but beware, other players can sabotage your progress and eliminate you from the trial. As you roll the dice, draft cards, and strategically place your influence, you'll need to adapt to the ever-changing magic energies in the coliseum. With playtime ranging from 30 to 90 minutes, Iocus Arcanus offers a great balance of excitement and strategy, keeping you engaged until the very end. The game's unique blend of area majority, dice rolling, and card drafting mechanics, combined with the possibility of player elimination, adds a thrilling layer of competition to the game. Whether you're a fan of fantasy, fighting, or just looking for a fun and magical experience, Iocus Arcanus is an excellent choice for your next board game night.
