Description

Get ready to take your Island Siege experience to the next level with the Coquina Expansion, designed by Dan Manfredini and released in 2013. This exciting addition brings new challenges and opportunities to the table, perfect for 2 to 4 players looking for a fresh twist on the original game. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, you can dive into the action quickly, and the easy-to-learn rules make it simple for new players to join in on the fun. The Coquina Expansion introduces 6 new cards and 5 wooden pink coquina building stones, which can't be removed by the usual white, gray, and black attack dice results. This means that during the first attack phase, these special stones are untouchable, thanks to the fact that the dice don't have a pink face. But don't think you're completely safe - these stones can still be targeted and removed during the second phase using the red targeting dice results. This adds a new layer of strategy to the game, as you'll need to think carefully about when to use your resources to take down these tough coquina stones. The Coquina Expansion is a great way to mix things up and add some variety to your Island Siege sessions. With its unique mechanics and new components, it's perfect for fans of card games, dice games, and nautical-themed adventures. Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to try something new, this expansion is a great way to experience the thrill of Island Siege in a whole new way. So gather your friends, grab your dice and cards, and get ready to defend your island from the invading forces - the Coquina Expansion is waiting for you.
