Description
In Kabuki, a simple yet engaging game designed by Hope S. Hwang, players must put their memory skills to the test to become a master kabuki actor. With easy-to-learn rules that can be explained quickly, this game is perfect for children and adults alike. The goal is to identify and remember the different face paintings worn by kabuki artists, which are represented by various masks in the deck. The game is played over three rounds, each lasting around 20 minutes, and supports 2 to 6 players. Players take turns revealing the top card of the deck and placing it on top of one of the actors, trying to track the different masks and their locations. If a player thinks a mask is already present in a stack, they can accuse their opponent, potentially earning or losing coins. The player with the most coins after three rounds wins, making Kabuki a fun and challenging game that's great for families or casual game nights.
