Description

In Kadō, you're thrown into the vibrant world of the local flower market, where you'll compete with other florists to complete orders and come out on top. With one to six players, the game is perfect for a fun night in with friends or a challenging solo session. The game rules are straightforward, making it easy for board game enthusiasts to dive right in, and with a playtime of 30 to 90 minutes, you can fit in a game whenever you like. Designed by Dan Lundberg and Jon Dyer, and published in 2021, Kadō offers a unique blend of hand management, strategic planning, and a dash of luck. As you navigate the market, you'll need to claim the right flowers at the right time, all while keeping a close eye on your opponents and trying to stay one step ahead. The goal is to collect patterns from the open market, which are worth varying point values based on their difficulty. With a clean workspace and efficient workflow, you'll be able to complete the most lucrative orders and build up your reserve, setting yourself up for success and the chance to win by collecting the most points. Will you emerge as the top florist, or will your opponents outmaneuver you and take the prize? In Kadō, it's all about strategy, skill, and a little bit of luck.
