Description

Keyper at Sea is an exciting expansion to the popular game Keyper, designed by Richard Breese and published in 2021. This expansion offers a fresh twist on the original game, introducing a new 'folding' sea board that replaces the country board in the Shallow Water game or adds an extra layer of complexity in the Deep Water game. With the addition of a fish market board, fishing boats, and sea creatures, players are presented with new opportunities to score points and build their economy. The game is simple to learn, with easy-to-explain rules, making it accessible to new players, while still offering a fun and challenging experience for veterans of the series. In Keyper at Sea, players can enjoy a unique gaming experience, whether playing solo or with up to four friends, with playtime ranging from 60 to 120 minutes. The Deep Water game introduces an innovative concept where players complete seasons on different turns, allowing the first player to finish a season to gain a store tile and play through that season again. This mechanic, combined with the new scoring opportunities, makes for a thrilling game that can lead to higher scores than the base game. With its engaging gameplay and simple rules, Keyper at Sea is a great addition to the Keyper series, offering something new and exciting for fans of city building, economic, and farming games.
