Get ready to rumble with the King of Tokyo/New York: Monster Pack – Luchador, the latest expansion to the popular King of Tokyo and King of New York games. This exciting add-on brings a new monster, Luchador, into the mix, and with it, a whole new level of competition and strategy. Whether you're playing with two to six players, you'll be able to add Luchador to your games individually or together with other elements from the expansion, giving you a fresh experience every time. The real highlight of this expansion, though, is the introduction of "challenge mode", where each monster dons a mask at the start of play, and players can engage in intense one-on-one matches. If you damage a monster in Tokyo or New York and they refuse to retreat, you can challenge them to a showdown, playing a challenge card face down and recruiting other players to contribute to your cause. The goal is to pull off the best wrestling move, like the coveted "Giant Powerhouse", and win the match, claiming your opponent's mask and earning two valuable victory points in the process. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, and a playtime of just 30 minutes, you can dive into the action right away. Designed by the renowned Richard Garfield and released in 2024, the King of Tokyo/New York: Monster Pack – Luchador expansion is a must-have for fans of the series, offering a unique blend of area majority, dice rolling, card drafting, and player elimination mechanics. The game's science fiction and movie/TV/radio themes are sure to delight, and with its easy-to-learn rules, it's accessible to new players as well. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or just starting out, this expansion is sure to bring a new level of excitement and challenge to your King of Tokyo and King of New York games, so gather your friends and get ready to enter the ring.
