Description

Get ready to dive into the world of Kings of War: Ice and Shadow, a thrilling 2-player starter set that's perfect for anyone looking to experience the thrill of miniatures wargaming. In this fantasy-themed game, you'll take on the role of either the Northern Alliance or the Nightstalkers, each with their own unique abilities and strengths. The game is set in the midst of the Abyssal Dwarf invasion of Chill, where the Nightstalkers are threatening to turn the tide in favor of evil. With the introduction of void-cages, rips in the fabric of reality are creating a portal for Nightstalker horrors to enter the mortal world, making every battle intense and unpredictable. The game itself is easy to learn, with simple rules that can be explained quickly, making it accessible to new players. A typical game takes around 90 minutes to play, and with the revised 3rd Edition softcover rule book and new miniatures included, you'll have everything you need to get started. The gameplay involves dice rolling, measurement movement, and variable player powers, which adds a layer of strategy and excitement to each battle. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just starting out, Kings of War: Ice and Shadow is a great way to experience the thrill of miniatures wargaming, and with its compact 2-player design, you can easily find a opponent to challenge whenever you want.
