Description

Kuih Muih is a deliciously fun card game all about collecting Malaysian delicacies, and it's perfect for a group of 2 to 6 friends looking for a quick and exciting game night experience. With a playtime of just 20 to 40 minutes, you can easily squeeze in a round or two, and the simple rules mean you can get started right away. Designed by Mike Ooi and published in 2020, Kuih Muih is a great example of how simple gameplay can lead to hours of entertainment. The game is played over three stages, and each stage involves collecting cards to score points. Here's where it gets interesting - cards are divided into stacks, and players take turns claiming a stack and picking a card from it. But here's the twist: unclaimed cards get returned to the table, and now you know what's in the stack you just saw. This adds a fun memory element to the game, as you try to recall what's in each stack and plan your next move. And just to keep things exciting, the player order changes each round, so you might find yourself going for the same stack as before, or trying a different one altogether. As you collect cards, you'll start to score points in different ways. Generally, the more cards of a kind you have, the better - but watch out for special power cards that can let you swap cards with an opponent or give you an edge in other ways. With its unique blend of memory, card drafting, and set collection mechanics, Kuih Muih is a game that's all about strategy and a little bit of luck. Whether you're a fan of Malaysian culture or just looking for a fun and easy-to-learn card game, Kuih Muih is definitely worth checking out.
