Description
Kyoto drops players into the midst of a pressing global issue, climate change, and puts them in the driver's seat as decision makers. As delegates from different countries, players must navigate a series of quick negotiations at a climate conference, working together to meet reduction targets and secure funding. However, each player has their own secret agenda and is driven to preserve their country's wealth, which can lead to some tough bargaining. With simple rules to learn, Kyoto is a fast-paced game that can be played with 3 to 6 players in just 30 to 45 minutes. Players must balance their own interests with the need to protect the planet, all while trying to outmaneuver their opponents. The game's variable setup and mechanics like bribery and negotiation add an extra layer of excitement and challenge, making Kyoto a thrilling experience for players who enjoy strategic gameplay and negotiation.
