Description
In Lancaster, you take on the role of an ambitious aristocratic family in 1413 England, vying to become the most powerful ally of the new king, Henry V of Lancaster. Your goal is to develop your own knighthood and cleverly deploy your knights to gain power and influence. You'll send your knights to various locations, including counties, the castle, and conflicts with France, to compete for rewards and favor. As you navigate the game, you'll need to balance your resources and make strategic decisions to outmaneuver your opponents. With no necessary in-game text, Lancaster is accessible to players of all languages. The game's normal complexity makes it easy to learn for those familiar with board games, and its mix of area majority, auction, voting, and worker placement mechanics ensures a engaging experience for 2 to 5 players over the course of 60 minutes.
