Description
Lascaux is a quick and exciting auction game for 3 to 5 players that's easy to learn and plays out in just 25 minutes. The game is set in the famous French caves discovered in 1940, where players bid on cards featuring different animals and colors. Each round, players secretly choose a color they want to win, and then take turns bidding with stones, trying to outmaneuver each other to get the cards they want. As players collect cards, they're aiming to get the majority of each animal type, which will earn them points at the end of the game. With its unique bidding mechanism and simultaneous action selection, Lascaux is a game of strategy and bluffing, where players need to think carefully about when to bid and when to pass. Designed by Dominique Ehrhard and Michel Lalet, Lascaux is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for a quick game night with friends.
