Description

Get ready to immerse yourself in the medieval world of Le Roy des Ribauds, a simple yet strategic card game designed by Erwann Ricord and published in 2024. This game is perfect for two players looking for a quick and exciting experience, with playtime lasting around 10 to 15 minutes. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and the gameplay is all about hand management and memory. Each player starts with a hand of cards and a row of face-down cards, known as the Court, which sets the stage for a tense and thrilling competition. As you take turns flipping cards or playing them from your hand, you'll need to use your wits to outmaneuver your opponent and fulfill one of the victory conditions, known as conspiracies. With different types of cards, including the Roi, Reine, Chevalier, and Assassin, each with its own effect, you'll need to think carefully about your moves to come out on top. The game's medieval theme and simple rules belie a depth of strategy that will keep you coming back for more. Whether you're a fan of card games, medieval history, or just looking for a fun and challenging experience, Le Roy des Ribauds is the perfect choice for a quick and exciting game night.
