With simple rules that can be explained quickly, 2 to 4 players can dive into a game that lasts around 30 to 60 minutes, making it the perfect way to spend a cozy evening with friends. The modular board, set collection, tile placement, and variable player powers all come together to create a unique and engaging experience. The Season of the Bear Expansion offers three new play modes that can be added to the game, each one bringing its own brand of excitement and strategy. Animal Allies give each player a special ability that they can use throughout the game, adding a new layer of depth to the gameplay. Season Events introduce extra scoring conditions to each Frost, keeping players on their toes and challenging them to adapt to the changing seasons. The Greater Animals, on the other hand, have a profound impact on the entire forest, granting each player a powerful effect that can be used once per game.
