Description

Imagine yourself as a landowner in a fashionable vacation resort on the Warsaw-Otwock rail line in the 1930s. In Letnisko, you'll compete with other players to attract and accommodate vacationers arriving by train, earning money from their stays and investing it in parcels of land, cottages, villas, and luxury pensions. The key to success lies in anticipating trends and upgrading your accommodations to attract richer and more discerning guests, while also catering to the less demanding tourists who will come regardless of the weather. With easy-to-learn rules and a simple worker placement mechanism, Letnisko is a fun and accessible game for 2 to 5 players that can be played in just 45 minutes. As you buy parcels, build resorts, and accommodate holidaymakers, you'll earn victory points based on the type and quality of your accommodations. The game's economic and card game elements add a layer of strategy and depth, making it a great choice for fans of economic games and worker placement mechanics. Designed by Karol Madaj and published in 2013, Letnisko offers a unique and engaging gaming experience that's perfect for families and casual gamers alike.
