Description

Get ready to hit the trails with Let's Take a Hike, a fun and fast-paced card game designed by Aaron Lauster. First published in 2011, this game is perfect for 2 to 5 players looking for a quick adventure that can be wrapped up in 20 to 30 minutes. The rules are simple to learn, making it accessible to players of all ages, especially kids. In this game, you'll draw cards featuring useful items like water bottles and tents, adding them to your hand and playing them into your backpack. As you build up your backpack with the right gear, you'll need to decide when to take a hike, and that's where the strategy comes in. You can choose to be the lead hiker, or join in when someone else takes the lead. Either way, you'll draw cards from the deck and discard items from your backpack as needed. But be careful, because other players can drop out of the hike and snag a valuable card for points at the end of the game. The last player standing gets to take all the remaining cards, so timing is everything. With the addition of hazard cards, you'll need to think carefully about when to play them to throw off your opponents or protect your own interests. With its unique blend of hand management and card drafting, Let's Take a Hike is a great game for families or casual gamers looking for a lighthearted challenge. The game's short playtime and simple rules make it easy to fit into a busy schedule, and the portable nature of the game means you can take it with you on your own adventures. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a fun game to play with friends, Let's Take a Hike is a great choice. So gather your friends, grab some cards, and get ready to hit the trails in this exciting and unpredictable game.
