Description

Get ready to dive back into the world of Backyardia with the exciting expansion, Long Live Backyardia, designed by Patrick Engro and Kyle Hanley. This 2024 release is the perfect addition to the award-nominated Bug Council of Backyardia, and it's incredibly easy to learn, with simple rules that can be explained quickly. In Long Live Backyardia, you'll join 2-4 friends for a fun-filled 30-40 minute adventure, exploring new twists and turns that will keep you on your toes. The expansion introduces four unique modules that can be mixed and matched to suit your style of play. You might find yourself using the Peacekeeper to rein in the chaos, or negotiating with other players to get your hands on valuable Nectar, a resource that can be traded for favors and bonus points. Alternatively, you could secretly accumulate Wealth tokens to affect allegiance bonuses, either positively with Prosperity or negatively with Turmoil. Or, you might focus on recruiting Leaders, special action cards that can be gained by collecting suit majorities among the tricks you've won. With so many options to choose from, you can create a unique experience each time you play. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Bug Council of Backyardia or just looking for a new challenge, Long Live Backyardia is the perfect way to breathe new life into your gameplay. With its simple rules and short playtime, it's easy to jump in and start having fun right away. So gather your friends, get ready to negotiate, strategize, and maybe even bribe your way to victory, and remember, in the world of Backyardia, only the most clever and cunning will reign supreme.
