Description

Atlantis is sinking, and its citizens are making a frantic escape, but you and a few other savvy individuals have decided to grab as much high-tech loot as possible on the way out. You're not just looking to survive, you want to thrive in your new life, and the tech you salvage will be key to making that happen. In Looting Atlantis, you'll navigate the doomed city, collecting valuable technology cards that will score you points at the end of the game. But that's not all - these cards also come with bonus effects that you can use to give yourself an edge during play. As you explore the city, you'll need to contend with the ever-present threat of lava flows, which will destroy any tech that gets in their way. You'll take turns directing the flow of lava and then flying your air car to different locations to grab the tech you need. The game is easy to learn, but it requires strategic thinking to balance your desire to gather as much loot as possible with the need to flee the city before it's too late. With two to four players, the game is a fun and intense experience that can be played in just 20 to 30 minutes. Designed by Nick Sauer and released in 2016, Looting Atlantis is a game that combines action, strategy, and a dash of science fiction and fantasy elements to create a unique and engaging experience. As the game heats up, you'll need to decide when to make your escape, keeping in mind that the first player to flee gets the best choice of new locations to settle. It's a delicate balance between gathering as much loot as possible and getting out before the city is completely destroyed. With its blend of area movement, card drafting, and set collection mechanics, Looting Atlantis offers a thrilling experience that's full of challenges and opportunities. Whether you're a fan of fantasy, science fiction, or just love a good game, Looting Atlantis is a great choice for anyone looking for a fun and exciting experience.
