Lords Of Zanora

Friends and Communities with Lords Of Zanora

Description

In the realm of Zanora, five sentient species are vying for peace and prosperity after years of war, and it's up to you to unite them as one of the Lords of Zanora. This fast-paced card game is easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - it's packed with strategic depth. With two to five players, you'll take turns drawing cards, forming alliances, and attacking your opponents' alliances in a bid to be the first to bring all five species together. The game is designed by Adrian Francisco and was published in 2020, and its simple rules make it accessible to new players, but with a playtime of 15 to 50 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to develop your skills and outmaneuver your friends. As you play, you'll need to manage your hand carefully, using your cards to form columns and alliances, and making the most of the special abilities of each faction's topmost card. These abilities can be used without using up any of your actions, giving you a powerful tool to outmaneuver your opponents. With hand management and set collection at the heart of the game, you'll need to think carefully about when to expand your alliances, when to block your opponents, and which abilities to use to get ahead. The game is all about making the right decisions at the right time, and the thrill of victory is all the sweeter when you emerge as the Lord who brings hope to Zanora. With its unique blend of strategy and luck, Lords of Zanora is a game that's all about navigating the complex web of alliances and rivalries between the five sentient species. Will you be able to put aside the grudges of the past and unite the factions, or will you succumb to the temptation of destruction and chaos? The fate of Zanora is in your hands, and with its quick playtime and easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right in and start playing with your friends and family. So gather a group of friends, grab some cards, and get ready to become the Lord of Zanora.
