In Lowlands, you'll build and manage your own farm in a harsh landscape where storms and floods are a constant threat. You'll need to balance selflessness and self-interest as you gather resources, tend to your flocks, and construct dikes to protect your farm and the community. With 2 to 4 players, the game takes around 50 to 100 minutes to play, and its normal complexity makes it accessible to those familiar with board games. As you carve out your farm, you'll assign farmers to various tasks, strategically deciding which actions to take and when. You can customize your farm with buildings and features, making it more efficient and profitable. But beware, the tide will rise, and if the dike isn't high enough, it could sweep away your profits. Will you focus on your own farm or contribute to the community's dike, earning rewards and protecting your investments? The choice is yours in this engaging game of farming and strategy.
