A typical game lasts around 20 minutes, making it a great option for a casual game night or a fun break from more complex games. The key to winning is mastering the art of hand management, as you'll need to carefully plan your moves to play all the cards in your hand before your opponents do. What sets Machiavelli apart from other card games is its unique twist on combination-building. Not only can you play new combinations of cards, but you can also reorganize existing ones to create new opportunities to play cards from your hand. This adds a whole new level of strategy to the game, as you'll need to think carefully about how to manipulate the cards on the table to your advantage. With no discarding allowed, the game requires a thoughtful and tactical approach, making it a fun and challenging experience for players of all skill levels. First published in 1940, Machiavelli has stood the test of time as a engaging and entertaining card game that's sure to delight players of all ages.
