Description
In Magus: Aura Mortis, 2 to 5 players take on the roles of powerful sorcerers, competing to become the new lord of the castle by accumulating 10 dominion points. To achieve this, they must fulfill missions and objectives while navigating the castle and using their spells to alter its structure. Each player controls a hero and has access to various actions, including movement, attacks, and spell-casting, which can be performed using energy from two different wells: power and control. As the game progresses, players gain energy that can be assigned to their power or control reserve, allowing them to perform actions strategically. The game offers both competitive and cooperative modes, with the latter pitting players against the powerful archmage Ardeth. In cooperative mode, players must work together to reduce Ardeth's dominion by completing objectives before facing him in a final combat, making for a thrilling and challenging experience.
