Description
In Maharaja: The Game of Palace Building in India, 2 to 5 players take on the roles of architects building palaces and houses for the Maharaja as they travel through India. The goal is to be the first to build seven palaces, but it's not going to be easy - or cheap. Players must earn enough money in the cities to fund their building projects, all while navigating the Maharaja's movements and using their unique architect powers to gain an edge. Players choose their actions simultaneously, but resolve them in turn, allowing for strategic planning and tactical maneuvering. As the Maharaja moves from city to city, players score points and receive money based on the number of buildings in each city. With its blend of area control, simultaneous action selection, and variable player powers, Maharaja offers a fun and challenging experience for fans of city building games.
