Description

In the world of Four Against Darkness, a new challenge awaits, and it's called Man-Eater. This adventure expansion is all about predator and prey, where the lines are blurred and you're not sure who's the hunter and who's the hunted. Guildmaster Evos is badly wounded and his bodyguard has been beheaded by a ferocious man-tiger creature that's now on the loose in the Forest of Thraa. This forest is no ordinary place, dotted with ancient ruins covered in ivy, and steeped in a dark history of a vengeful druid cult that once destroyed a proud town. The Guildmaster is offering a substantial reward of three hundred golden crowns to anyone who can bring him back the head of the beast, and that's where you come in. You can play Man-Eater solo or team up with up to three friends, each controlling your own adventurer as you navigate the dangers of the forest. The game is incredibly easy to learn, with simple rules that can be explained quickly, so you can dive right into the action. With a playtime of around 60 to 90 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to explore the forest, avoid deadly traps, and track down the elusive man-tiger. The game comes with a black and white map in the book, but you can also download a larger, full-color map that you can print up to A3 size, perfect for using miniatures or paper figures to represent your characters. This adds a whole new level of immersion to the game, as you'll feel like you're really exploring the forest, searching for any sign of the beast. With its unique blend of exploration, adventure, and cooperative gameplay, Man-Eater is an exciting addition to the Four Against Darkness series, and it's sure to provide hours of thrilling gameplay for fans of fantasy and adventure games.
