Description

Get ready to immerse yourself in the holy city of Mecca, where millions of faithful gather every year for the Holy Pilgrimage, or Hajj. In this abstract strategy game, you'll find yourself inside the Holy Mosque, surrounded by the imposing Sacred Kaaba, and tasked with introducing pilgrims into the holy place. The twist is that the organizers have devised a clever system to control the placement and organization of the pilgrims during their prayers to Allah, and you'll need to master this system to come out on top. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 minutes, Mecca is the perfect game for 2 to 6 players looking for a fun and challenging experience. Designed by Javier Garcia and first published in 2011, this tile placement game requires strategic thinking and planning to outmaneuver your opponents and introduce the most pilgrims into the holy place. As you navigate the intricate system of placement and reorganization, you'll feel like you're right in the heart of the Holy Mosque, competing to be the ultimate winner. With its unique blend of abstract strategy and Arabian themes, Mecca is a game that will keep you coming back for more.
