Description

Get ready to embark on a thrilling adventure through the 9 realms of Norse mythology in Micro Midgard, a game designed by Ben Downton and published in 2024. In this abstract strategy game, you'll take on the challenge of fulfilling the Norn's prophecies before the impending doom of Ragnarok. As a solo player or with a friend, you'll navigate a shared board, moving your meeples to gather resources, craft powerful relics, and complete quests to earn glory. With its easy-to-learn rules, Micro Midgard is perfect for players of all skill levels, and its short playtime of 15 to 30 minutes makes it an ideal fit for a quick gaming session. As you play, the wolves Skoll and Hati will be closing in on the sun and moon, adding an element of urgency to your quest. When one of the wolves reaches the end of the track, the current objective is scored, and points are awarded to the winning player. The game ends when a player reaches 9 points or the final 5th objective has been scored. With its unique blend of variable set-up and worker placement mechanics, Micro Midgard offers a fun and exciting experience that will keep you coming back for more. And if you're looking for even more adventure, be sure to check out the Micro Midgard: Yggdrasil Mini Expansion for added challenges and excitement.
