Friends and Communities with Money Maker
Description
Money Maker is a thrilling board game set in 16th century Amsterdam where you take on the role of a commercial bank aiming to become the richest in the city. With an endless supply of credit at your disposal, you'll bid against friends to acquire valuable companies, invest in them, and produce goods to sell on the market. The goal is to earn as much money as possible, but be cautious, as the influx of credit can lead to inflation, causing prices to fluctuate and potentially triggering a financial crisis. As you navigate the game, which can last anywhere from 45 to 180 minutes, you'll need to balance your investments and negotiations with other players to come out on top. With its unique blend of auctioning, commodity speculation, and trading mechanics, Money Maker offers a fun and challenging experience for 3 to 6 players. Designed by Paul Brinkkemper and published in 2016, this game is perfect for those familiar with board games looking for a new adventure.
