Description
Mongolian Goat Rodeo is a wild and entertaining game for 2 to 8 players that's all about grabbing a goat and showing off your skills. The goal is simple: snag the goat from one corner of the play area, carry it down to the opposite corner, around a goat post, and back to where you started. Sounds easy, but with only one goat up for grabs, things can get pretty competitive. Players will need to use their storytelling skills to convince others that they should be the one in control of the goat, and with the help of a dice roll, they might just succeed. On each turn, players roll the dice to see how far their riders can move, using a ruler to measure out the distance. If they end up next to the goat, they can try to tussle for it, spinning a tale of how they manage to grab hold of it. The game is full of unexpected events and opportunities to earn bragging rights, which can be worth big points. With a playtime of around 60 minutes, Mongolian Goat Rodeo is a fun and lighthearted game that's easy to learn, even for those new to board games. First published in 2006, this game has been delighting players for years with its unique blend of pick-up and deliver gameplay, storytelling, and racing elements.
