Description

Nannon is a super-quick and simplified version of the classic game Backgammon, condensed into a fast-paced and exciting experience. Designed by Jordan B. Pollack, this abstract strategy game has been streamlined to its most basic elements, making it easy to learn and play in just 5 minutes. With only two players and a simple set of rules, Nannon is perfect for a quick gaming session. Each player has just three men, and the board is reduced to six positions, making every move count. The game still retains the core idea of Backgammon, with a focus on roll and move mechanics, using dice to determine your moves. The doubling cube is also present, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game. With its simple rules and short playtime, Nannon is a great introduction to abstract strategy games, and its compact design makes it easy to take on the go. First published in 2004, Nannon has been providing a fun and challenging experience for players looking for a quick gaming fix, and its unique blend of simplicity and strategy makes it a great choice for anyone looking to try something new.
