New Zealand Menagerie

Friends and Communities with New Zealand Menagerie

Description

Get ready to embark on a wild adventure with New Zealand Menagerie, a fun and educational board game designed by Pat Darlington and Dan Nicholls. In this game, you'll take on the role of a nature reserve manager, tasked with creating a thriving ecosystem for New Zealand's diverse wildlife. With three different habitats to manage - High Country, Forest, and Coastal - you'll need to collect and play cards featuring various animal species, each with their own unique characteristics. The game is easy to learn, with simple rules that can be explained quickly, making it accessible to players of all ages. As you play, you'll need to balance the growth of your animal populations with the threats that come with them, such as fires, pollution, and feral animals. These threats can be mitigated with protective measures, adding a strategic layer to the game. With a playtime of just 10 minutes, New Zealand Menagerie is a great option for a quick game night with friends or family, and can be enjoyed by 2 to 4 players. First published in 2011, this game has been delighting players for years with its unique blend of set collection and environmental themes, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a fun and educational gaming experience.
