Description

Get ready to take your Newton experience to the next level with the Great Discoveries Expansion. Released in 2019, this expansion adds a fresh layer of excitement to the base game, introducing new challenges and opportunities for 1 to 4 players. With a playtime of 90 minutes or less, you can dive into a world of discovery and competition, navigating the Age of Reason with ease. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to board game enthusiasts, who will appreciate the clever blend of deck, bag, and pool building, hand management, card drafting, and tile placement mechanics. The Great Discoveries Expansion brings two innovative modules to the table: a deck of 30 new action cards and Great Discovery tiles. These cards can be flipped to reveal either an action symbol or income, giving you flexibility and strategy in your gameplay. Meanwhile, the Great Discovery tiles offer bonuses and victory points, which can be collected on various action boards throughout the game. Whether you're a seasoned Newton player or new to the game, this expansion promises to deliver hours of engaging fun, as you travel through the world of discovery and compete to make the greatest breakthroughs. With the New Edition of Newton already including this expansion, you can jump right into the action and explore all that Great Discoveries has to offer.
