In Nidavellir: Thingvellir, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure to save the kingdom by visiting every tavern and recruiting the most skilled dwarves. With the help of Queen Dagfid, you'll also have the chance to hire brave mercenaries and utilize their precious artifacts. This expansion introduces a new layer of strategy with the Camp, where you can choose to take a Magic Artefact or recruit a Mercenary card instead of recruiting a Dwarf card or Royal Offering card in the tavern. The game is designed for 2 to 5 players and takes around 45 minutes to play, making it an exciting and engaging experience for board game enthusiasts. The game mechanics, including chaining, card drafting, simultaneous action selection, and turn order auction, add a level of complexity that's easy to learn for those familiar with board games.
